notes
This is a slice of our Bio in connection with the album "The Rolling Stone Effect".
Things do not come easy for this band. Sitting on what could be the bands first official self-released album, turns and opportunities became scarce and live shows seemed to fill where other areas seemed a desert. Out of the blue, small leads were now becoming big advantages. Andre had a connection through a friend that could have lead to the Tunes and Tones signing a deal with an up and coming record label titled “Ramhaus Records” based in the same city these boys were playing. The events that unfolded from this point forward though filled with dead ends, proved how influential a single band could be tied to a drama caught between a hungry label and a starving manager named John Tovar.
The band continued to move back to the studio to record once again, another 10 original songs in a project they called “The Rolling Stone Effect.” A very successful engineer named Daniel Perez built a friendship with Raphael and after several conversations over the phone, Perez said that he would like to be a part of the sound T&T were cooking. Life and Timing are not always in love - but everything seemed to climax appropriately to God only knows who’s advantage. $1,700 and 35 hours later “The Rolling Stone Effect” was mixed and mastered.
