Award winning cuban jazz group Tumbao Bravo releases their third Cd, Un Systema Para Todo. A collection of original compositions exploring mambos, cha cha cha, bolero and rumbas. Co-lead by sax/flutist Paul VornHagen and conga drummer Alberto Nacif, the band was formed in 2003 in Ann Arbor/Detroit Michigan area. The instrumentation includes sax/flute/piccolo, trumpet/flugelhorn, congas, timbales, piano, bass and bongos/bell. Their first two Cds, Montuno Salad and Amigos: From Our Hands were given the Detroit Music Award for Best Jazz and Best World Music recordings in 2005 and 2007. Skilled, authentic cuban beats with creative and tight arrangements, this music is hot and will make you want to dance.
