Making his mark in the alternative rock world with the band Sponge ,Vinnie Dombroski established himself as a truly inspiring song writer.With such Billboard hits as “Plowed”,”Molly”,”Rainin In My House”,”Wax Ecstatic”and “Have You Seen Mary”,he showed that it’s possible for a song writer to touch the listener’s emotion’s as well as impact the recording industry.
Never resting on the accolades that came with the success of the band Sponge, Vinnie collaborated with many notable names in the music business.Chris Degarmo,Gilby Clarke,Mike Inez,Sean Kinney to name a few.His music has been featured in numerous major motion pictures and television programs.He has embraced the challenge that presents itself when writing in different musical styles for different projects.From rock to pop to country or industrial it’s all very believable.A fine example is the band CRUD (which Vinnie is the sole writer).The music has been embraced by T.V. music supervisors too many to mention.You would recognize the songs if you are a fan of CSI or the many MTV or Discovery channel shows or are a fan of video games.The songs from CRUD have surfaced everywhere.
The cd “LONG WALK WITH THE DEVIL”is a group of some of Vinnie’s favorite new original compositions.He is accompanied on the cd by some of Detroit’s finest musicians, who thoughtfully support the songs with crushing blues guitar riffs and soulful keyboard arrangements.For Sponge fan’s this cd picks up where their song “Have You Seen Mary”leaves off and is sure not to disappoint.

Beautiful Music
author: patricia IrvinI fell in love with this cd the first listen and now it's my obsession I admit I must hear it at least twice a day and can never get enuff of these songs! Vinnie is a genius! I have always been a sponge fan and have turned on many friends around the world to sponge so when I found out about this cd I ordered more then one to send to friends! my favorite songs on this cd are "trains" "long walk with the devil" "letter to my daughter" "drown in that river" "happy again" but I think all the songs are great! thank you vinnie for all the intense music! your a great talent!

author: MattI have literally thousands of CDs, most of which suffer from the "loudness war" - and several Sponge CDs are among the casualties. Imagine my surprise when I purchased this CD and ripped it to my computer! I am not exaggerating when I say this is the best mastered CD I have from 1992 on. There is NO clipping on the entire album! Whomever mastered this CD, I tip my cap to you. I can only wish other CDs of this era could sound so good..... Oh, and the music is pretty darn good too :)
Vin Dombroski does it again!
author: SodaVinnie Dombroski delivers another strong set of songs here with this new side project. Anyone who is a fan of this man's many musical projects will know that he is a top notch songwriter. On this recording Vinnie's voice is warmer and stronger than ever. This is pure rock and roll rich with great lyrics and guitar work. Some key tracks are Long Walk With The Devil, Any Town U.S.A., and Ain't Comin Home which is reminescent of classic Black Crowes. If you are a fan of any of Vinnie's music, pick this sucker up. You'll be diggin' for sure. This is a guy who deseves his spot in the rock and roll hall of fame hands down.
