To clarify, a CD-R is a short run CD, as opposed to a large production CD. It has been suspected that the whole fear of CD-Rs is a conspiracy manufactured by the major record labels who felt that a CD-R revolution would damage their business
TRIO GRANDE is a classic rock cover band featuring Alastair Greene on guitar and vocals, that performs music by the power trios of the 60s, 70s, and 80s as well as other great songs from days gone by. Alastair Greene is a SoCal Blues-Rock veteran who’s previous achievements include appearances on recordings by Alan Parsons (the 2006 Grammy Nominated ‘A Valid Path’) as well as recent CDs by West Coast Blues Artists Mitch Kashmar (2006 release ‘Wake Up And Worry’ on Delta Groove Records) Frank Goldwasser (2007 release ‘Bluju’ on Delta Groove Records) as well as 3 other self produced CDs. Joining Alastair in TRIO GRANDE is Andrew “Flash” Fleischmann on Bass and Vocals and Bryan “Smitty” Smith on drums. On this Live CD TRIO GRANDE is joined by guitarist/vocalist Dave Cowan of SoCal roots rockers Claude Hopper on the Grateful Dead classic ‘Franklin’s Tower’.
BOTTOM LINE:
The camaraderie, dynamic musical performances, and good natured stage banter
(not to mention Alastair’s humorous comments on ‘A.G. Speaks’) make it apparent this band’s good attitude and live prowess is an awesome spectacle to behold.
