notes
New Cellar Records Recording Artist "Trepidation" are a Chicago IL. based Rock band with influences ranging from Guns N Roses, Buckcherry, AC/DC, to Avenged Sevenfold.
Although influenced by these bands, Trepidation has a unique sound all its own. Trepidation has molded itself into a creative Rock band with catchy guitar riffs and melodic Hard Rock vocals to capture the attention of audiences and fans of music everywhere.
Originally formed in 2001, this five piece group has been playing shows at venues all over the Midwest. In 2006 the buzz of the band gained the attention of music industry veteran and Grammy Voting producer Todd Joos. Todd quickly signed the band to his Illinois based label Cellar Records. In July of 2006 Trepidation entered the studio with Todd Joos to start work on their debut release "Tearing Emotions Apart". What followed was a series of strong productive sessions. The band is quoted as saying, "Working with Todd was a great learning experience, and creativity flowed throughout the studio during every session with him."
Now, with their 2007 release complete, Trepidation along with their label Cellar Records is proud to unleash this fantastic return to great Rock and Roll to the World!

BORN TO BE ALIVE !!!!!
author: Rob A. MundoThe song East St. Louie is picking up popularity in some of the strip clubs I frequent, which can only mean one thing, Trepidation is going to be the biggest thing from DeKalb since Homer Simpson. It's also great pre-game music I always seem to mixing a cocktail with SoCo 100 proof or everclear when I'm jamming out to the cd. This CD is the perfect easter gift for all the hard to shop for party animals that love going out all night and waking up at 5 in the afternoon just so they can do it all over again.

I haven't heard any real rock in a long time and i must say this is what rock is!! No more of that screaming junk on every other cd real rock back to guns n roses, acdc, and exc. thats the kind of rock this cd has to offer and it will make you have chills to know that were not far away from rock music coming alive again thanks to great cd's like this one. This is a must have and a band to watch out for in the upcoming future. Favorite song on this is hollywood tells you what it's all about!
It's about time ROCK came back!
author: Rock GodThis band and their new album is just about the best thing I've heard in a long ass time! This just doesn't sound like an indie CD! It is thick heavy, and Rockin! And the songs are strong. Killer hooks with the music and the lyrics. The production quality is great too. All in all this is just the best. The major labels should be sniffing around this band and take this album as is and put it out. I've bought a couple of other Cellar Records releases from cdbaby and I must say that they seem to find strong bands. Great band great production, great album....
