BIOGRAPHY
Born and raised in Vancouver, British Columbia, Tracy grew up in a household filled with music, from West Indian Culture such as Steel Pans, Soca & Calypso to beautiful Spanish melodies to the main stream music of R&B / Contemporary. Early on in age, Tracy had a strong desire to express herself and gained respect for sound of music. Not only did she start writing poetry to one day turn into music, but she turned onto vocal lessons to discover her true talent.
In 1998 Tracy was introduced to a new vocal coach who pushed her vocal ability to the top. She advanced in 2 years what would take the average person 5 years to reach. Tracy not only has a sound of her own, she also has power. Tracy’s vocal coach decided she was ready to compete with a very powerful song “I will always love you” by Whitney Houston; She was right Tracy made it to the finals. From there in 2001 Tracy was fortunate enough to record vocals with International Artist Busta Rhymes on his “Genesis” album. She made a great impression on Busta Rhymes for her work on the Album song “Genesis” that she was asked to record a second track “We Got What You Want”. From that time on Tracy new that her dreams would be met she just needed to work hard to see the rewards. From that time she joined the VOC Gospel Choir singing second soprano, with the choir they performed across the lower mainland of Vancouver, British Columbia. Tracy was then hired to record vocals for a production company who sells songs to major record labels. Tracy built up a fan base with her performances at local nightclubs in the Downtown Vancouver core. In 2003 Tracy decided to make a move from Vancouver to Toronto to peruse her career even further. Toronto being more of a cosmopolitan city Tracy was sure to gain greater contacts for her career. March 2005 Tracy won “First Place – Gold” at the “USA World Showcase Competition” held at the MGM Grande in Las Vegas, Nevada. Which was then televised on Internet, Satellite and American Pax Cable Network. Tracy has always had this passion inside of her to sing, perform and fulfill her dreams.
