Attitude, Tori’s debut album is a mixture of Pop and hip hop-influenced R&B tracks that breathes life back into the genre with solid lyrical content and fresh new sounds crafted by the talented producer “Water”.
When contemplating a name for the album, the word “Attitude” just seemed to fit. Attitude is a way of thinking or responding. If you think you can, you’re right! If you think you can’t, you’re also right. Since you have a choice, why not choose to think that you can? That’s Attitude, that’s Tori!
Born in Atlanta, in most ways, Tori is a typical teenager. She loves singing, dancing, her acting classes, going to the mall, talking on the phone, and spending time with a few good friends. However, when Tori hits the stage or gets behind the mic, she turns up the energy and turns on the charm. Charm, personality, presence, call it what you like, but when you listen to Tori deliver a song or see her perform, make no mistake about it…Tori is ready for prime time!
Attitude’s journey began when Tori was just 15 years old. In fact, Tori recorded the song “King” just shy of her 16th birthday. King was a sign of good things to come in Tori’s development as an artist, as she continued to mature and engage life experiences.
Along this developmental road, Tori recorded the Poprock&B track “Any Minute Now,” the saucy “I’m Sexy”, the confident female empowering “Deleted”, and a host of other soon to be well known songs. Tori shows off her dynamic range and vocal versatility, while taking the listeners on an auditory ride with the pop, rock and R&B influenced “Any Minute Now.” She shows her sexy, playful side in the Pop club joint “I’m Sexy”; and, empowers all women to take charge of their relationships in the delightfully delivered song “Deleted.”
Attitude was carefully crafted to deliver pleasurable songs throughout the listener’s auditory experience—each song holds its own relative to other songs on the album. Thus, if you’re looking for an album with only one or two good songs…keep looking…for this album is not for you! However, if you’re the type of person who likes to insert a CD and listen to it from beginning to end…,then you’re at the right place for there are truly no bad songs on this album.
Tori’s musical influences are wide and diverse, including Rihanna, Fergie, Ciara, Jo Jo, Avril, Beyonce and a whole host of other talented artists. However, make no mistake about it, Tori brings her own style to the table. She’s got the talent, commitment and a calm, cool demeanor. She’s got game….this one’s for the fans!!!!
