A Time for Love
author: Donna Mambrinoomg This whole cd is off the chart....awesome..I'm listening to it now, words can't express what im feeling... I'm from Buffalo, a few nights ago i was at a italian dinner in n.buffalo and this music was playing and the sound of this mans voice gave me chills...so beautiful...smooth,sexy,jazzy all in one...i told my son it's like listening to gino vannelli from his canto cd...which is my favorte arist in the world, but this cd as it kept playing one song and sound better then the next was blowing me away..so i had to find out who it was....Well i was really blow away to hear it was Tony Galla...I was thrilled ...Havern't heard him in years, and i could kill myself for that...missing all that beautiful music and his voice for years...Tony and i grew up just a few blocks from each other on the west side of Buffalo and still are friends with a few of his counsins, well to make that night even better while having dinner, Tony's mom was also there...I was so excited that i had to go speak to her to let her know how wonderful and how beautiful her sons voice and music was...well after talking for some time and you can see from her face how proud she was of him and so happy that i went up to her with all of my excitement, she had the owner of Sunny Italy take out the cd for me to take home...i was out of my mind with joy..we exchange information and come to find out we new all of the same people and relatives...that does happen when you come from the west side of buffalo..hahaha..Tony's mom was very sweet and kind and i was very humble! She mention will be coming back home in nov for a show so i will be there..so looking forward to that and also going to order his other cd tonight..A Evening in ITALY. BRAVO TONY your are one hell of a arist and singer and thank you so much Carmella for giving us your very wonderful son, who's voice and music brings much needed happiness and joy back into my life and home again...ciao

author: jari saloWOW. Some evergreens, taste of jazz, latin, jazz funk.. this here is a cd, that everybody should listen to. Tony is maybe at his best here, hear Bobby Militello's sax and Frank Marocco's accordeon, once again Tony makes perfect job.

With his powerful and passionate voice,A Time for Love(Tempo d'Amar) may be the best of Tony's three Italian themed Cd's.You don't need to have a love for Italian music to appreciate this. The tenth track,For All We Know,is just phenomenal and could become a big hit on the contemporary music charts if it was released as a single.And what a treat it is to hear Bob Militello playing sax on Innamorata and tearing it up on flute on Come On A My House.While some artists leave you longing for the original when they redo the classics,Tony's interpretation of Don't You Know and You'll Never Find Another Love Like Mine, make them uniquely his own. There's not a bad track on this record.
Elegant and very enjoyable music
