Strongly influenced by the rock and roll and country of the 60's and 70's, Babb brings new songs that are sometimes quirky and sometimes heartfelt. Although the album is recorded to sound like a band, it is a one man show. Babb plays all of the instruments, does all of the singing, wrote 10 of the songs and co-wrote the other 2. He also engineered and produced the album. From Love songs like In the Night to Blues oriented Hold On to the Rock meets traditional backwoods murder ballad with a twist of Big Orange Moon to the Honky-Tonk Country of I Won’t Cry Myself to Sleep Tonight to the grinding guitars of Purple Dog, this album runs a gamut of styles.
