Tom Knight is a singer, songwriter, puppeteer and band-leader who has been performing regularly since 1986. He has produced 7 recordings, including "Easy As Pie," "Peanut Butter and Jelly's Greatest Hits," "The Library Boogie," and his most recent - "The Classroom Boogie!"

His concerts for families always have a lot of audience participation, with a part to sing, or motions or maybe even some simple dance moves. His songs are often about animals, the environment, food, or books. Favorites include "Alligator Jump," "The Garbage Monster," and "Wiggle Worm."

Besides his concerts for families and puppet shows, he also leads a 6-piece band playing swing, rock 'n' roll and music for dancing, called Tom Knight & the Blue Moon.

    This is a wonderful CD. It's great for the whole family whether we are in the house or in the car. We played out the tape and then purchased the CD 'cuz we just can't live without it! Thanks for the music!

    I am 29 and don't have any kids (except my inner child) and I bought this CD for me. When I feel stressed I sing along and dance around. This CD is great for all ages. It isn't annoyingly sing-song like some kids music. It has simple, fun, playful songs. Adults will enjoy it too.

    Easy as Pie is a lively introduction to a wide variety of musical styles for younger listeners and their families. Tom Knight gets help from his many “friends” including the Lowdown Alligator Jass Band and a wonderful kids chorus. He explores such abstract ideas a purple pumpkins in “Purple Pumpkin Pie,” and the old swimmin’ hole in “Jenning’s Pond”; and the trials of owning a dog in “Walkin’ the Dog.” His voice is clear and distinct and the lyrics are enjoyable. It is obvious that all involved enjoyed themselves while creating and producing this cassette. Great fun for young listeners individually.
