This is good stuff!
author: K. P. LaymanThe Tom Healy Band's first CD, Pearl Street, was really good and Tough Dog is the natural progression of their music and well worth the the 6-year wait. First song on the CD, Uptown/Downtown, has you groovin' from the start! Handcuffed and Dracula are a little more soulful. When you get to the song Tough Dog, though, you'll be back up on your feet moving to the beat! Ever So Tightly is a perfect ending to this CD, highlighting the collective talent of this band,led by Healey's seductive vocals! If you aren't lucky enough to be able to hear this band in person, like I am, buy this CD -- you won't be sorry.
