Deep in "Soul" is the treasure of a poet; a complex poet with extraordinary talent and gifts. Serge at: http://sergekozlovsky.com has written for public viewing his world class poetry. It was there that I penciled in tunes around his poems. I just wanted to be part of something great. Serge permitted me to take his poems and ideas and make this album of music. He and his wife chose to have Candide's graphic artwork of her butterfly for the cover.
Who is the great Candide, well she was the age of seven and drew a butterfly and then later on she went to my art shop and managed to come up with a print of her butterfly. You can see both because now they adorn my cd's. This was a great project to be involved in. My son and I cut a few tunes together and to my amazement he brought the tunes up to new levels. I hope to play with him often and benefit from his natural gift to weave the bass structure into melodic strings and rythm. Therefore this album is dedicated to Serge and his family and to Tom, Paulie, and Candide Bailey because of the quality of excellence they impart to me.
