In my mind the "Eastern Split" is the west or another way of looking at it is the west fell out of eastern pursuits.
The art is done by the one and only Candide Bailey. She was seven years old at the time of her drawing this and she has gone on to be a better student with an nack for the arts. This is essential art because it came from an inspiration. As her Dad, I write music the same way. It is from the heart that the brain has a chance to fire up. Of course this is all my conjecture...
One of the most amazing songs to me is a poem written by a friend overseas that is greater than the song. The poem is "Farewell" and like so many of his poems, the best poetry written of the day. Serge Kozlovsky writes with striking meaning to his word and gives the order of the world a questioning mind. Long story short this poem gave me a style, that is how powerful the poem directed the music.
