I told them not to ever, EVER, send me another one of these cds. It took me like half a year to get their first effort "Meatcicle" out of my head. Now this, "Eat at the Y", and I let it sit on my desk; I didn't chuck it like I should have. It just laid there under some McDonald's trash and some beer bottles. Why did I put it on? Twice burned is twice stupid with this band. Now riffs from "Polecat" and lines from "Pimpsyvania" are clotting in what's left of my mind. I hate Tirade. I listen and the guitar sounds hot and then it all slips out of focus and so do I. They take you and twist you and stretch you and whip you like a red-headed stepson. Then I caught my own stepson, Ike, listening to it in his headphones. He had even a more glazed look than usual, if that's imaginable. His eyes were half-goggling out of his peanut-shaped head as I heard the unmistakable strains "Fudge Judy". His therapy bills are gonna triple now. He was about planet short of a solar system anyway. I can't review this. Let's just say the guitar work of Tray Bettenoir and g.l. duende is disturbed; it should come as a double-bagger-an airsick bag and a crash bag. Fender and Gibson should sue them for abuse to innocent instruments. The lyrics are idiot savant; no, make that just idiot. duende's "singing" is a tribute to pliers and tasers. That he is still roaming free somewhere is the real homeland security issue. Thankfully, the mysterious Tez Firestone, opted out of this cd. His influence on this "band" is not exactly healthy. Ok, if you didn't buy "Meatcicle", good, you're pretty safe; keep up the good work. Cross the street to avoid this one. Listen to the voices in your head; they're probably saner than this.
