Timothy Pratt was rasied in Chesapeake,Va. but now calls Las Vegas, Nv. his home since 2001. He started playing drums in his fathers church a the tender age of 8. He enrolled in the school band in the 5th grade and excelled right away to the top of his class, right through highschool. Tim earned his B.A. in Jazz Studies from Virginia CommonWealth University. He went on from from there to tour and play with the young lions and jazz legends of jazz such as The Loston Harris Trio, Barry Harris and James Moody just to name a few. He has had the great fortune of studying under drummer Jimmy Cobb who was Miles Davis's drummer on the memorable recording Friday Night at The BlackHawk. As Tim pursues his musical career he works with abandoned and abused children at St.Judes Ranch for Kids in Las Vegas.
