    This is a really great acoustic singer-songwriter CD. A great songwriter doing other great songwriters music, the choices are wonderful, and the delivery straight-forward and powerful. When I like most of the tracks on a CD, it has to really be a great CD.

    When a great songwriter records a collection of other writers' songs, you know you're in for a treat. All the songs are a name and Grimm mixes it all well from Tom Waits to John Prine. The songs are always anchored by Grimm's solid vocals and the wide collection of musician give each tune a home of its own. Sounds like you're sitting on the porch and there is no need to hurry.     Too few of today's musical artists are willing to cover the works of other artists. Not everyone has the talent of Dylan or The Beatles to always be able to produce an album with ten new songs of their own creation. Tim Grimm has taken songs from some of the finest singer/songwriters of all-time and given them his interpretation. He has done a wonderful job! There are songs that deserve to be recorded by more than the original artist the same way that Mozart deserves to be played by more than one orchestra. Tim has done a very credible job of putting his mark on these timeless classics with his instumentation, arrangements and vocals. Buy this CD if you want to hear another interpreation of songs that will be sung forever!
