ABOUT THE RECORD: These diverse, seasoned acoustic compositions are well traveled, musical reflections of one soul's resonance. Feelings and emotions masterfully expressed via wood and steel = SOULRESONANCE. SOULRESONANCE was produced by the very gifted Bryan Bell at SYNTHBANK STUDIOS, Gig Harbor Wa. The album was mastered by Paul Stubblebine at PAUL STUBBLEBINE MASTERING, San Francisco, Ca. ABOUT THE TOOLS: SOULRESONANCE was recorded almost entirely on antique and vintage guitars including a rare 1913 Knutsen harpguitar. Tim Bertsch personally restored most of the musical instruments on this album. He then thoughtfully composed music for each of the guitars own unique acoustical qualities. Every guitar has it's own voice! ABOUT TIM BERTSCH/SOULRESONANCE: I am an old soul. I am of european descent. I am a seeker of knowledge. Lost technologies. My being has experienced many impressions. I am an eternal student of life and it's expression. My voice is of wood and steel. My soul's resonance has been influenced by travelings, ramblings, familiar strangers in foreign lands, and many sunsets and moonrises. I am a versatile performer, a recording artist, an expressionist. I've been blessed to have studied with: Larry Coryell, Emily Remeler, Beppe Gambetta, Joshua Breakstone, Don Lamphere, and John Stowell as well as many other masters of the resonance.
