author: BernardTia's playing is tight throughout the album with ideas that flow one into the other smoothly.Got my copy first hand at Jazzmobile Wed. At grant's Tomb. 8/20/08 It's all I thought it would be. Healing Space, which I've had for months, is also a wonderful album. These Fine young musicians do the music proud. Glad to have them both. Thank you Tia and Co. for sharing your beautiful thoughts and feelings with us. I anciously await the next one.
Pillar of Strength
author: WILLIAM LEARY JRIt's truly fantastic to find a young musician of today's generation, enthusiastically embracing, with profound fervor, the music of bygone jazz greats, that many of MS fuller's present day contemporaries have probably never even heard of. She is truly a rising star for all jazz lovers of all ages to keep an eye on.

author: John & Amy WhitlockWe bought Pillar of Strength after hearing Tia Fuller play live. Her album and live performances are well-constructed, balanced, and highly entertaining for either the jazz novice or afficionado. We especially like her original compositions!

I have a short attention spand, this CD is one of the best-I can listen to all the songs all the way through the whole CD. This CD makes a non-jazz listener say- who is that? I got to get that, can I get a dub--and you say no my brother you got's to get your own.
really flowing cd. i am feeling this.
author: cj kearse from philly.just recieved the cd and have been playing it consistantly.very good vibe going on in the cd. high marks.
Hope to see you at the North Sea Jazz Festival
author: Arie Kooy, The NetherlandsBy coincidence I heard last year a track of the CD of trumpetplayer Sean Jones. After purchase I got even more enchanted, not only through the music of Sean Jones but also through the contribution (compositions and playing) of Tia Fuller. On Internet I saw the apperance of her own CD. My enthusiasm of her playing was confirmed! A CD only with climaxes, especially: "Rain of Patience", "Sunday Nostalgia" and "Little Big Sis". Magnificent !! In Jazz there is in The Netherlands one very big event, the North Sea Jazz Festival. I hope to met Tia there very soon.
Mind blowing, breathe-taking talent.....
