Thom Pace has been writing for movies, TV (including "The Life and Times of Grizzly Adams"), and TV movies for over 20 years. He released a single of "Maybe" in Europe and received the Goldene Europa Award (Europe's version of the Grammy) for Best Song. It was number 1 for 9 weeks and sold over 1 million copies for RSO Records. He then released the "Maybe" album on Capitol Records.

After a self-imposed exile from the music business, he has just recently returned to recording, and has come up with a CD that definitely reflects his eclectic nature. There have been requests from all over the world for him to return to recording and this is the CD! Except for a "Grizzly Adams" medley and a song from the NBC movie "Can You Feel Me Dancing?", these are all new songs.

Some of the songs are fun, but most are thought provoking and poke fun at what we call "Society". No one has ever put Thom in a category, nor do they try. His songs are all his.

Hopefully this will be the start of more material from a truly gifted singer/songwriter!

The "Grizzly Adams" fans are going to find that Thom is not quite like the song or the character from the TV series!

    "Maybe" is a very special song for people like us who grew up watching Grizzly Adams. Perhaps the song is so unquie that I can't even compare it with any song that I like. I listen to it almost everyday for it's a song that Tom can truly call his own..

    I know the song well, I wish I could listen to it on this web site, brings back memories when Thom played with Dave in a Pocatello Idaho Bar. Maybe is nice but some of his other orginal stuff is great. He does a great version of City of New Orleans.

    I WAS TAKEN ABACK AT FIRST, AS I HAD PICTURED A MOUNTAIN MAN, SINGING ABOUT THE MOUNTAINS AND ANIMALS AND SO ON. I ORDERED IT FOR MY NEPHEW, FOR THE MAYBE SONG. BUT WHEN I LISTENED TO IT. DIDN'T KNOW WHETHER TO GIVE IT TO HIM OR NOT. I THINK I LIKE IT, BUT IT GIVES PAUSE FOR THOUGHT!!!!!!

    This CD is truly a masterpiece. I especially love "Who I am" and "Part of You". It's hard to believe that it took 30 years for me to realize that there is so much more to this man than just the songs to Grizzly Adams, and that was my favorite show. And his personal touch when you order directly from him, really warms one's heart.

    This is one of the best albums/CDS I've bought in years. I was one of the ones who bought directly from Thom through his E Bay store, and received a personally autographed CD. For those of you who would like the full version of "Maybe", I would recommend that you get the CD, "Slices of the Past and Future", also sold directly through Thom on E Bay. Both CDS are fantastic, and when you buy through Thom, you're sure to receive lots of friendly E Mails. I truly recommend this performer, and hope he's around for many years to come.

    I have been looking out for this CD for years, I have a crush on Grizzly Adams!The only problem is, Maybe is at the end of a different song so if you wish to put it on repeat you get the whole song..but i can deal with that as i have waited long enough!

    When my wife passed on into the hands of the Lord last year, I pulled this album out. The "Take Me Home" song reminds me of her, and reminds me she is being cared for by the tender hands of God. I listen to it on my way to church, and on the way to work as a construction worker. I even listen to it when I'm at work with my friend Karl.     The Not In Compliance cd was well worth the money and time getting this cd.The song Maybe is as peaceful to here it today as it was when I was younger it makes you wish you lived in the mountains.Grizzly Adams was a good tv show and the song Maybe was from the tv show and that's why I had to buy this cd.

    Well Done, Thom! At last able to find "Maybe" on CD. Have original 7" RSO release from 1979 when "the Life and Times..." was first shown on tv in the UK. The "B" side has another Thom Pace track "Friends". Thom's music is a rarity in the UK. To conclude, WELL DONE, THOM!!

After we heard all of the songs, we were so impressed - they were so lovely, emotional, personal. We loved "Wear the sun in your heart", "Dead guy", "Part of you", and the rest of them, and of course "Maybe". And you know what the best part was - we ordered and got the CD directly from Thom, he autographed it for us, and although it had to be sent to Australia, we only had to pay U$14 which included the CD and shipping.
