I agree with Autumn's review...We had so much fun back then, going out to see the Stompers...God those nights were the best! This music draws me right back to those days! This is the music that should be blaring out your car window cruisin' from Nantasket, up through Revere Beach, & all the way up to Hampton Beach!!

  • Sal is as awesome as he was 30 years ago....and still is!!!!!!

Great to see this album back in print again. Seems like I waited years for it to be on CD, and I'm finally glad to have it! Good time rock'n roll that you can't go wrong with. NEVER TELL AN ANGEL alone is classic, and the rest is sweet, too! If you like Bruce Springsteen, John Cafferty or John Eddie - you need to add this to your collection. You won't be dissapointed.

I have been waiting for years for this CD, and "I LOVE IT". Thank you sooo much.

  • Finally on cd!

I've been looking for this cd for a long time. In the early 80's used to listen to this on vinyl. That record is long gone, but this cd brings back those memories.

I have fond memories of hanging with my friends and listening and seeing the Stompers up at Hampton Beach. My buddy had the original album recorded on a tape casette and we used to blast the music all of the time. I was hooked the first time I heard it. Then when i saw my first show at the Casino Ballroom I had the best time of my life. These guys were incredible. The audience was up on their feet literally Rocking, Jumping, and Hollering the entire time. I had the Stompers on casette for years and played it numerous times until it finally broke. Now, about 20 years later i finally have everyting I need from the Stompers on CD!! I listen to it so much now that my kids (6 and 8) ask for it! They love it and now sing to it with me in the car. What a great CD. Thanks to CD Baby for bringing back some long lost fun!

The Stompers were a band that could've, should've, and yet somehow never did reach wide popular success. What their songs may have lacked lyrically they made up for with their pounding riffs and addictive hooks. The crowd at a Stompers concert was never a sit and listen audience. They were on their feet dancing, screaming and loudly singing along to each and every chorus of each and every song. If you are a lover of great, unadulterated, fun rock and roll, Springsteen, Seger etc. take a listen, you are sure to become a fan that asks as I often have,..."How come these guys never really made it".

This album in it's original form was great. This CD is still great and still sounds as fresh as it did 20+ years ago.

  • Great CD, great album, great songs, great band

The Stompers were one of the best bands ever to come out of Boston. "Never Tell An Angel" and "One Heart for Sale" were two of their best tunes, and both can be found on this CD. The other songs are all favorites of Stomper fans and are guaranteed to make you wanna dance, dance, dance. Grab this CD if you can.
