notes
The Mickey Finns have a unique and wholly original sound....Start with Ray Kelly's cigarette scratched and whiskey soaked voice...add his high energy, acoustic-punk guitar. Then add the wonderboy fiddle of Matt Mancuso..a technical genius with amazing taste, licks, and a great vocalist, as well. Mix in the funky world percussion of Brian Tracey and you've got The Mickey Finns....Upbeat, acoustic/punk, energetic, original & traditional Irish...all with an irreverant touch. Knockout Irish Music at it's best!!!

On The Dole
author: Jon Haverman (haves)Feels like years when I ventured by myself into Paddy Reilly's Pub in Manhatten by myself to see Ray and the band. Seeing him in Cleveland with the Prodigals, solo and with the Mickey Finns we've been waiting for what Ray can do. This is fun, live its fantastic. Got to go have a pint now, out.
WOW!
author: Colette JacksonI saw them live at Indy Irish Fest and they were really something and having the CD is like getting to take them home with me! They're great and I can't wait to see them live again!!
Mickey Finns
author: Bob C.This is the band that impressed me at the Dublin Irish festival last year and the CD is no disappointment...but I know they have even better stuff than this and await a second album!
incredible CD
author: irish aceFrom the first song to the last, this song is what Irish music is all about. I saw them referred to as an "Irish Supergroup" and after buying this CD I have to agree. With Ray Kelly's fiery voice on the mic, Matt Mancuso's blazing fiddle, and possibly the best Irish percusionist out there, Brian Tracey, this CD is a must for Irish music fans from 70 to 17.
