notes
Press Release (The Idea) THE IDEA is the musical project of ,one Mitch Salisbury. Born in a barn back in 2006 THE IDEA consists of four spotty Herberts from Oxfordshire, England. They are busy gigging and living it up with whoever will have them. ALTER EGO REHABILITATION CENTRE is their first L.P, recorded entirely on 8 & 12 track with the guidance of "less is more" guru, producer FRAN ASHCROFT. From the Buzzcockian "Sentimental" to the pastorial psychedelia of "Away Day" and Barrett-esque, Brit Pop, Blur of "Peter The Frog", the songs stick to you teeth like Blackpool rock. In a nice way, of course.
