Album Notes

You can spot a member of Thee Emergency a mile away. Maybe it’s the furry foursomes prominent afros or the swagger in their step or maybe it’s that they seem to be having so much more god damned fun than the rest of us.

These soul siblings deliver amp-bursting live shows--a frenzy of Rock'n'Roll, heavy soul, and psychedelia. Audiences up and down the West Coast spend their time wishing they had four eyes and another set of ears to fully take in the inspired performances of Dita Vox, Sonic Smith, Nick Detroit, and Tom T. Drummer. Seattle's favorite mop-tops have stolen the show when opening for national and international acts alike, including Ghostland Observatory, Devotchka, Portugal. The Man, The Go and The Horrors.

The bands first full length album, Can You Dig It? was produced by acclaimed Detroit producer Jim Diamond (The Dirtbombs, The Mooney Suzuki, The White Stripes). Ever the rebels, Thee Emergency has taken their second full length release into their own hands and heads, and with SOLID they have created an epic album, an instant classic.

Get ready to discover your new favorite band, because Thee Emergency is about to be it
