  • Full of Emotions

You'll know a band is on top of its form when they can make old riffs so fresh to listen to. Heard them on KEXP on my way to work and found myself humming their songs.I bought the CD last year but it's still playing on my car up to now.

  • I really love 2 tracks

Man i really really love Trouble everyday, like obsessed with the fucking song. Im also slightly less obsessed with it's just like you say but none the less obsessed. I like everyones starting over quite a bit. Then theres the rest of the album which to my suprise isnt that great. I mean it's good dont get it twisted but it dosnt have whatever it is those other tracks have. Its a really good album and i can tell thier going to find their swagger and be this amazing band, thats going to blow up and take the world by storm but their not quite thier yet.

  • Comic Nerds Love 'em
    author: Jack Fallows

I first heard the track "Trouble Everyday" on The Diggs' MySpace page, and completely fell in love with it. I bought the album and the first time I listened to it was in the comic shop where I work. All the people I worked with though it was ace, and I could tell the customers were loving it too. One guy even came up to ask me who it was! I told him to come to CD Baby to buy it too, cause I'm nice like that. My only criticism would be too add another few tracks on, the joy doesn't last long enough!

  • Amazing Album

One of the best albums I heard in 2006. Consisting of indie-rock,post-rock,slowcore,and little noise. Great Album.

I heard this band on Kexp.org and really liked their sound. This is one of those CDs that is awesome on the first listen. Definitely a great band!!!!

  • Great Album

Amazing album. I don't have anything "indie" to say, but this is one of the most original and sweeping albums I've heard in a while. Such a refreshing change from the norm.

  • style and delivery

really impressed with the beginning of this record especially. reminds me of sunny day real estate and the kind of singing that begs the moon to fall from the sky...emotive and strong playing

  • Firm start...average ending

Its no doubt in my mind that the Diggs are off to a great start in their music career. Commute is a great buy that promotes the indie-rock community as a whole, without breaking much new ground. A solid start; though I found it lead up to a few songs near the end of the album that contain repetitive lyrics with a repeated song layout to boot. All in all though, a good buy, and I will be interested in seeing what they come out with next.

  • Awesome from beginning to end!

It is hard to believe that The Diggs, a band with three members can put out an album with so much sound. Lannen's guitar work is mind blowing, his lyrics resonate in your head. Commute is a must buy on anyone's short list.

  • Solid CD

Great CD. All fans of 90s emo should enjoy. Remeniscent of best stuff form Promise Ring, Texas is the Reason, and Mineral. Also to be loved by fans of Slayer, Jay Z, Yo Yo Ma, and books on tape.

  • miracles do work
    author: Verena

I do agree, it's definitely the greatest record of the year (will be also my fave of 2006 I guess) and I'm quite euphoric about the fact that commute found miraculously its way into my hands and straight into my heart: such a great one, guys, and I just can't wait to see you live over here, yes, another round of bad english ;-), Germany waits for you to play and sparkle!!!!!! So: everyone, listen to it, make big eyes (or clap your hands either) and tell all your friends about it! My very best wishes for this band!

  • greatest record of 2005
    author: Frank

the most intense indie record i heard in the last 5 years beside the wrens epochal "meadowlands". imagin the energy of early superchunk, the drones from my bloody valentine and the superb melodies of ride mixed up with a new york feeling and you get a small glimpse on what the diggs sound like. clap your hands and say YEAH!!! p.s.: sorry for my bad englich :-)
