  • No Words...
    author: Steve Cantwell

Should a "guy" enjoy this CD as much as I did... Read all the reviews. Pick out the best comment from each and that is how I would describe this album. If you ever get to see them live, they sound just as amazing.

  • Groovy
    author: Teresa (Simplegirl)

I have had this cd close at hand for more than 6 months now and ALWAYS go back to it. It can raise my mood, mellow me out, get me grooving...no matter what my mood. Met the girls over the winter....they are wonderfully kind and indulgent toward their fans. I recommend this cd to anyone with any groovy folky musical interests!

  • The music they create is magic.

It is a feel good, wonderful cd! The harmony goes to the center of your energy and makes you feel at peace.

  • Outstanding!
    author: Tony Graham (cdbaby artist)

Fantastic lyrics, sweet vocal harmonies and great music, all support this album on a very sturdy foundation. Loved it! This album is one of the best, here at cdbaby.

  • Great Sound & Harmony!

Great road trip music! These ladies have the ability to bring back memories and leave you yearning for more. When will their next CD be out?

  • Good road music for the long haul
    author: Mason

This is one of my favorite cds to listen to when I'm cruising over to the beach, or really just about anytime, anywhere. For the past six months I've listened to this cd more than any other. The use of multiple different instruments, the well written words, and unbelievably smooth harmonies on SHE'S GOIN' ON make this the best track on the cd. My only bone to pick is that even for the seasoned fan, I was tricked a couple of times into thinking I had heard the same song twice on the cd. I can't tell you which tracks fooled me, was it 6 & 10, or 2 & 9? But somehow some of the songs are overly similar to my ears. Maybe it's the guitar, not sure, but I even had to look at the insert at first to make sure they hadn't put the same song on the cd twice. Hmmm. Still, overall, I listen to NO DESTINATION a lot and think it's worthy of staying in my low capacity cd changer, because there are few cds I'd rather groove to.

  • Rich in melody and emotionally provocative ~ takes me on a joy-ride into my soul
    author: Drak Druella

These songs are rich in melody with emotionally provocative words that not only weave a story, but a tapestry of understanding about ourselves and others ~ and manages to do it in such a playful way! The combination of Teri and Sarah's voices are just BEAUTIFUL and make listening to their CD a true pleasure while I'm driving. :o)

  • Teri & Sara are AWESOME!
    author: Janette

My friends & I have been listening to Ter-ra for a couple of years now, whenever they would play at Touchstone Coffee House. We are in aw of their talents. This CD is just a sampling of their musical abilities. I have probably listened to this CD a thousand times and I never get tired of it. There are some great stories being told and some wonderful instruments being played on this CD. Teri & Sara are two terrifically talented women who are wonderfully special people. I can't wait for the next 1 - 2 - 3 - 4 - 5, etc. CD's to be released.

  • a massage for your soul

Ter-ra makes ya feel good all over. Love them, love the CD.

  • The way hot fudge melts ice cream...
    author: Laurie Scribner

Is the best way i can describe this CD. The sweet blend of their harmony, the depth of the stories they sing, the accoustical sound of Terri's guitar playing, it's just a perfect flow..... Music doesn't get any better than this in my book.

  • Terra has the potential to get relly big, really fast.
    author: Jennifer Jorgensen

Terra's CD No Destination combines a fun musical style with poetic lyrics that makes one think and laugh. If you are a fan of Folk Rock or any type of music that tells a story, you will love this CD. Musically their voices have an incredible blend and the intrumentalists are highly skilled. The songwriting combines catchy words and music to make you want to sing along, with occasional unexpected meter or melody changes that will keep your interest. Keep your eye on this new duo. They have the potential to get relly big, really fast.

  • Unique, and beautiful sound
    author: timberwolf_68/Paula

I say unique, because Terra has it's own sound. The influences are there...being the "indigo girls", joni mitchell, etc..., but they are significantly different from the rest of the pack by the wonderful harmonies, and by creating songs that stand apart, and tell a story. It's a story that I want to hear more of , and it keeps me coming back for more. Until then I will just keep humming the songs from their latest CD.

  • When compared with other CDs of this genre, The voices of Ter-ra stand out.
    author: cj

The voices of Ter-ra are a smooth, easy listening experience. I would choose this and other CDs by Ter-ra over others in this genre every day. I hope there are more Ter-ra songs to come.

  • These girls are on the RISE!!
    author: AmySue

And I'm not just saying that because they're my friends! I've been listening to Teri and Sara's music for going on 6 years now (!), and I am continually delighted and amazed by their sheer talent and heartfelt joy for making music. I think just about anyone can find something to identify with in their songs . . . who among us haven't been heartbroken, or yearning for adventure, or questioning this amazing thing called life or wistful for a time long gone? Yes, we've all been there. So if you are looking for a CD that will make you want to hum and sing along, tap your toes and cry all at the same time, give this one a listen! You won't be disappointed!

  • Each time I listen to this CD I hear and feel a different emotion!

Each time I listen to this fabulous CD, I hear a different sound and a deeper meaning. Ter-ra’s story telling skills re-energizers my life’s favorite memories. Can’t ask for more than that! Recommend you test it out for yourself, I know you won’t be disappointed!

  • born to sing
    author: Anne

If this CD were an album it would be worn thin in the 6 months that I have owned it!! These two are meant to sing togehter and the harmonies they create together are soulfully delicious and smooth. I am waiting quite anxiously for their next CD!

  • Ter-ra plays from the heart
    author: J Henas

Ter-ra's music is soothing, inspiring, enlightening and played from the heart. If you want to feel the joy of a road trip, feel the grief of a lost love, feel appreciation for the wise woman in your life, you will love this CD.

  • early Joni Mitchell, Indigo Girls
    author: bkind

I was playing this wonderful cd at work one day, and after asking who it was, a co-worker remarked that it reminded him of early Joni Mitchell. Does it get any better than that? And of course, you can't listen to this and not think Indigo Girls. Despite the references to amazing artists, these girls are originals, with beautiful music and heart felt lyrics.

  • ...rich, lively lyrics set to suberb melodies and breathtaking harmonies
    author: T. Lorimer

The rich, lively lyrics set to the suberb melodies on this cd have made me laugh, cry, and everything in between. The great rhythms never fail to get my body moving along to the beat. Perhaps best of all are the breathtaking, though wonderfully warm harmonies - they ALWAYS give me goosebumps!

  • best road trip album ever written
    author: Kyle

I started listening to "No Destination" in my car on a trip starting from Salem, OR and kept it on repeat all the way to Bakersfield, CA- never tired of a single note. I can easily say, 'I love this album!'. Watching the miles of road, trees, mountains and fields flash past me, I feel more attached every time I listen. As each track starts and I cheer to myself, 'Ah sweet, this one is so good'. With songs like "NxNW" and "Two for the Road", I instantly hear the road calling me, beckoning me to drive. At the same time, when I listen to "You Have Done Me Well" or "Treading Water", two songs soaked in emotion- both dark and light, I struggle to keep tears back. Sara Sanders and Teri Payton share the perfect mix. Alone, each voice is gorgeous, powerful and full of life, but when they harmonize, all boundaries of brilliance and beauty are broken. Teri's amazingly intricate guitar playing ability shines through on "Angel Has Died" and "Falling". "No Destination" has been in heavy rotation on my CD player since I bought my first copy and everyone I've played it for has fallen in love with it.

  • Amazing Harmony~Soothes the soul!
    author: Becky Bilyeu_Touchstone Coffee House

Terra debut CD is FANTASTIC~ This duo has been a regular on our live music schedule for years at Touchstone Coffee House and the much anticipated CD has surpassed my expectations. I love the storytelling lyrics and the harmonies are the best. I play it almost everyday at the coffee house and never tire of it. You must experience it for yourself...tell your friends to listen too!
