Temika Moore is an acoustic inspirational soul artist whose talent has been enjoyed by underground aficionados for 11 years. Regarded by many as the music industry's best kept secret, she is often described as a vocal virtuoso sharing the title with industry power houses Rachelle Ferrell, Ledisi, Maysa, Lizz Wright, Lalah Hathaway and Heather Headley. Temika inspires and encourages young and old through clever, thought-provoking lyrics that call attention to both social and spiritual issues all while keeping you in the “pocket.” She has shared the stage with Will Downing, Roy Ayers, Marcus Johnson, and the late Stanley Turrentine. She has also opened for KEM, Ledisi, Dwele, Conya Doss, Cassandra Wilson, Najee, Pieces of a Dream, Melba Moore and Jean Carne to name a few.
Temika’s current body of work “Doing Just Fine” contains original compositions such as the funky acoustic inspirational anthem “Light as a Feather,” the head bopping, jazz-infused “Let It Go,“ the heart warming tribute to Temika’s grandmother “Come Sunday,” and she also pays homage to Christian pop group Seawind with a rendition of “Follow your Road.
Temika Moore's most recent CD "Doing Fine" is receiving airplay on several radio stations around the country and is available on Itunes and select retailers. Join Temika’s mailing list to get information on her upcoming performances and her third CD project scheduled for release in 2009.

Feelng Just Fine
author: S. Fisher
That's how this CD leaves me. I absolutely love the Temika's version of "Groove with You." The song "Doing Just Fine" is so special, I hope that people are really listening to those words. I have two favorites; the first is "Come Sunday" which brings tears to my eyes as I remember growing up, Sunday mornings and my Grandmothers. My second favorite is "Conversation;" it has a soothing/calming feeling. I have listened to this CD all day while at work, and never once got tired of any part of it. Even better, my students (middle school) like it also. When someone asks to hear a song again I have to smile because I know this isn't the genre of music they normally listen to.
I understand that Temika is currently working on a third CD. I'm looking forward to it.
Oh, one more thing, I ordered both CD's and I was pleased that I received them both on time and in great condition.

Follow Your Road
author: Vernon Spriggs
I brought this CD after hearing one of my all-time favorite tunes: Follow Your Road. I was like 'who is this'? Never did I think anyone could pull off this Seawind hit. I was working on a Sunday afternoon listening to D.C.'s WHUR, when I had to stand still and just listen! After numerous failed attempts to reach the DJ, via calling in -- she finally recapped the songs and artists. When I got home, I was on CD BABY! Wow - I got 'my song' plus 12 bonus songs!!!
