Temika Moore is an inspirational soul artist whose talent has been enjoyed by underground aficionados for 11 years. Regarded by many as the music industry's best kept secret, she is often described as a vocal virtuoso sharing the title with industry power houses Rachelle Ferrell, Ledisi, Maysa, Lizz Wright, Lalah Hathaway and Heather Headley. Temika inspires and encourages young and old through clever, thought-provoking lyrics that call attention to both social and spiritual issues all while keeping you in the “pocket.” She has shared the stage with Will Downing, Roy Ayers, Marcus Johnson, and the late Stanley Turrentine. She has also opened for KEM, Ledisi, Dwele, Conya Doss, Cassandra Wilson, Najee, Pieces of a Dream, Melba Moore and Jean Carne to name a few. Temika's debut CD, Moment of Truth is a musical journey into the soul of an awe-inspiring talent. The title is derived from her personal journey to find peace and truth in her spiritual and professional life. What better title to introduce the listener to an intimate musical experience with Ms. Moore. Temika wants the listener to walk away with a sense of empowerment as stated in the third track of this CD, "No longer will I look for others to validate me, it's my life and I know what I want it to be-I'm so glad I found peace of mind!"
