Original Dance Music Producer Drops Explosive Full Length CD

New Orleans breakbeat dance music producer / artist Tears of Technology releases the highly anticipated full length album entitled "This Is How I Cry". The full length CD release is packed with fifteen energy filled, emotionally driven tracks. From the first track played, you not only want to move your body, but you feel it through your entire being.

This is the third album release from ToT. With each album, the energy and creativity has only sky rocketed toward the stars. You can actually watch this artist evolve from the DJ he once was to the artist he now has become.

This release features five tracks with vocoded vocals of ToT himself. His messages of love, hope and truth still stand strong even in his own writings.

In his electro dance tracks "Make the Beat Drop" & "Five O Four" we learn who ToT really is and what drives his passion for the electro breakbeat scene. In his lyrics in the track "Disguised Reality" you get a glimpse of what drives his passion for life and music. He reminds you to "Free your mind, take some time, some time to seek the questions of life and what it all means..."

This album also features the angelic vocals of Serenity. Serenity is a newcomer to the dance scene, but has made a lot of noise in a short time period. Her soothing vocals on tracks such as "Higher Ground", "Sapphira" & "Rain" fit perfectly with the production of ToT. Serenity also sings a duet with ToT on the tracks "Disguised Reality" & "Where Did I Go Wrong".

There is also a special appearance from the hip hop emcee 2 Da West on the track "Grass".

This album has it all. With pounding bass and beats to electro moving grooves, then on top of all that, amazing vocals to set it all off. This CD rocks from beginning to end.

This is a really good sounding CD. Dan is one of those rare artists that doesn't fill half his CD with weak tracks, but instead puts hot tracks through the whole thing. Great production combined with killer beats and melodies keeps me listening to the whole thing. I've purchased all of his CD's so far, and plan to buying/recommending them. Highly recommended !

I have all his CD's and vinyl. If you're looking for something a little different in your dance music, something you can listen to anytime of day, give this one a shot. You'll be glad you did.

  • Awsome!!!

First let me say that I don't really listen to allot of electronic/dance music outside of the clubs. I had been very impressed with Dan's remix work on our classic freestyle song "Memories of You" as well as tracks he had posted of Tears Of Technology on myspace which is what drew me to wanting to work with him initially? I just got a new ride and used "This is How I Cry" to break in my new car stereo system today and was blown away by the production, songwriting and diversity of the 15 tracks on this Disc! There are influences of Trance,Freestyle,Hip-Hop,Electro and I hear a harder edge slightly Industrial feel on some of the later tracks which I was presently suprised to hear!!! For me to listen to all 15 tracks top to bottom w/out hitting the forward button once is saying something and when the CD was finished it actually left me still wanting more!!! This is definitly a classic with influences from the past moving the bar forward into the future of dance/electronic music! If your into any of the styles of music I mentioned above this is a must have for your IPOD or CD Collection! I'm honored to be mentioned as a past influence of Tears of Technology and proud to see where they are taking the music!!! Well done!!!

back in 2006 I discovered Tears of Technology..back then, most of these songs werent even in production. the ones that were, already had me hooked!(tracks2-6) since then I have watched as this artist set fans on fire by playing these tracks before they were released, me included..it is no lie to say that I liked every track on this cd. "this is how I cry" is Tears of Technology's 3rd and best album so to date. a bargain at 67cents a track get the mp3DL..I got the cd.

**Breathless** ya'll better have some good speakers, that's all I'm saying... For reals, the love that I have for any of Dan's production is that, It is ~Unique~ If you were to hear it coming from miles away, there's no doubt that you be asking yourself, "who is that?" It's unique that you will want to push that replay button over and over....and over.... love it it the soul...

Hey Dan, I have been listening to techno for 12 years and I have never heard an album (This is How I Cry) like your new one......NEVER. It is, by far, the best I have ever heard. Better than Trashy, Shawn Davis, etc. I got goose bumps listening to it......Very good job!! Keep 'em coming!!
