Influences: Johnny Rzeznek (The Goo Goo Dolls), Kurt Kobain (Nirvana), Daniel Johns (Silverchair), Jon Bon Jovi (Bon Jovi), Raine Meda (Our Lady Peace)and David Bowie. Tommy has been performing for 4 years, first solo and then with the band, equally as effective. He is very active as a songwriter and along with his writing all the material for "Find Your Way", Tommy has written with several other talented writers,including 5 songs with John Hampson from the band NINEDAYS, grammy award winner Vini Poncia, and Alfredo Scotti. Tommy is also currently working on projects for several signed artists. He has been an A.S.C.A.P. member for 3 years, recently joined TAXI,and has an extensive and impressive music catalogue.


The Band: The Tommy Dalton Band is very active and plays on average twice a week. A college radio promotion is in place, and a tour is in planning. The debut CD "Find Your Way" is available online at CDbaby.com and in local record stores. (S Florida). The band has been in an active alliance with the Mothers Against Drunk Driving campaign to promote safety among teenagers through the awareness of the adverse affects of driving while under the influence, offering music as a positive alternative. They regulary play concerts at M.A.D.D. events. Along with Rock Clubs,
Festivals, and other apperances,The Tommy dalton band has performed for over 100,000 school kids in Florida.

  • Good, but not great

    Really good music, well produced. I felt the vocals were a bit weak, but that would be my only issue. Overall a really good band and I will keep an eye out for more.

    Let me tell you something, there are a few bands that people have not heard of that I think are just awesome. This is one of them. Tommy Dalton is the next great star. I know music, and I will guarantee that in two years, this band will be big time. There is another musician, Rich Barimo, who is also on the rise. I heard he was playing with Adrian Grenier's Honey Brothers. HOT as well!

    I enjoy your accoustic numbers best... it's almost like listening to Johnny R. himself. You do a great job with the lyrics and it's a really good debut album. Hope you guys will tour AZ someday (backing the Goo Goo Dolls would be awesome!) Good Luck!

    I knew that they would make it. This cd is very deep and inside. The songs just get to me and tell me what he was feeling when he wrote it. I saw tommy and his band at my school like when I was 9. I knew that they's just make it and keep on movin on.Damn you guys rock.

    He does a lot to imitate his influences. I think if he differed the chorus music from the verse music in his songs a little more than he already does, it would give it a more attractive sound. The songs are GREAT already but that might help. Also, a lot of singers have a musical and lyrical theme to their entire album. I didn't hear the whole thing so you probably already thought of that, but if you didn't that's my two sense. What do I know, I'm an English teacher?? =( LOL Best of Luck, Tommy

    I have to admit that the music was not captivating the first time I played the CD, but the more I listen it, the more I like the tunes. Pretty well done. I would definitely want to check out their new albums if they come out with any soon.

    The cd is definitely one to invest your money in. The lyrics are very deep but in a good way, definitely not what you would expect from a local band. The songs sound like hits you would hear on your local radio station. Each song flows emphatically one after another, having a little bit of variety with different instruments. Having these talented young men write their own lyrics and music just adds on to the fact that this cd is worth getting!
