  • Rich and diverse

The tapestry on Dressed for Success is excellent. The music ebbs and flows like the air and it gives it a very natural feel. I found it to be very listenable over and over again. I particularly liked Golden Coat because it jumped out at you with energy without effort. Well-written CD and well-played!

  • It will fill your soul

Wow, If your soul is empty, their sound will fill it.If your ear is straight, their harmony will bend it.This cd will take you to the place you want to be!

  • Your new CD was great.
    author: Christina

The CD was really great. I tend to like the first CD better, maybe because I play it often. The band is very talented. I feel that the artwork on the new CD was very creative and appropriate.

  • Another example of creativity and expressive songwriting!

This is my 2nd CD by the Trousers, and, as expected, this CD leaves you wanting more. The tapestry the various instruments weave behind the stories being told makes you feel as if you are listening to a masterpiece AS it is being created. You feel as if you are there. The music is very fresh, alive and original. Hail to the Tangerine Trousers!

  • The CD was great! When is the next one due?

  • From top to bottom, this is an engaging record from an excellent ensemble
author: Steve Byrne - Detroit Free Press

TANGERINE TROUSERS HAVE A ROOTSY SOUND AND GREAT MELODIES: Some roots records have a tendency to be rootsy to a flaw -- melody takes a backseat to making sure everything sounds really really real. Not so with Tangerine Trousers, who with "Dressed for Success" solidify themselves as one of the {Detroit} area's top Americana-styled acts, mining classic pop, country, folk and more to delightful effect. The neatest trick is that nearly every song on this 10-track collection has an instantly memorable, hummable quality, the kind of stuff that leaves you begging for another spin.

  • I would recommend that you get a copy of this CD as soon as it is available!

I would recommend that you get a copy of this CD as soon as it is available! ... They {Tangerine Trousers} have a truly unique sound, and the songs on this CD showcase that sound incredibly well! I was left wanting to hear more! The lead vocalists (CJ Milroy, Luke Sayers and John Milroy) all do a great job, and the harmonies sung by all are flawless ... With the release of Dressed for Success, I think great things are going to be happening for this band! Keep your eyes peeled! The fashion world, as well as the music world, is about to be set on its ear, as Tangerine Trousers become fashionable!
