notes
Singing since the young age of five, pint-size dynamo, Jernie, first astounded her mother when the little girl came home from pre-school belting out Tomorrow, the theme song from the play Annie. With undeniable talent, Jernie has since been the youngest top performer in all of South Florida! With a voice well beyond her tender years and a charismatic personality, this young country crooner truly “has it”.
Signed to Mirrome Records in 2006, Jernie has completed her first CD, produced in Nashville by the legendary Ron Cornelius with an “A” team of Nashville players. The first single from her CD titled JERNIE is scheduled for release on the April 30, 2007 volume of CDX.
Jernie is already a national television veteran. Appearing on the Maury Povich Show for talented kids, she wowed the audience (and Maury himself) with an amazing rendition of “Proud Mary”. The Florida native also traveled to California to appear on America’s Most Talented Kids. Both shows provided ideal showcases for Jernie’s amazingly powerful voice.
The best things come in small packages. When Jernie takes the stage, she may appear to have “little girl” style. Once she begins to sing, this bombshell commands notice. Standing no taller than the speakers, Jernie is making a big name for herself. Jernie has performed throughout the region, appearing at major league baseball games, private events, fairs and festivals and for civic organizations. She is a highly sought-after and thoroughly professional performer… truly a crowd-pleaser.
Jernie recently won her local level of the Colgate Country Showdown and will compete in the state competition this year. She followed her win by opening for national country recording artists Sugarland, Trace Adkins, Montgomery Gentry, Taylor Swift and Darryl Worley in February 2007 at the KISS Country Cook-off in South Florida.
Jernie’s talent has been documented in numerous newspaper and magazine articles, and internet fanzines. As seen above she has been the opening act for many prestigious Country Artists. Jernie is also no stranger to theater. She has shown another facet of her talent through acting in the plays including Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, and Annie.
Ambitious and determined, Jernie continues to branch out, trying her hand at many entertainment disciplines. She is learning to write her own songs, has collaborated with studio technicians and devotes tremendous time to focus on what she brings to the table in Country Music. Be assured, when it comes to Jernie’s talent and charm ---

Excellent debut album from 13 year old dynamo, Jernie. Good mix of songs from uptempo country rock to power ballads. Big voice & extra big personality .. that's Jernie! Not one bad song on this album & the yodeling on Cowboy Sweetheart blew me away! Recommend you buy this album without hesitation. Location: QLD Australia
