Travis Allison Band's second independent, all-original album, Old Habits, was released in May 1999 and has received remarkable feedback.
MTV is currently featuring tracks from Old Habits on their show "Undressed." Nickelodeon is also using tracks for its show "Snick House." Disney's "Z Games" has also been using tracks.

"OLD HABITS" never go away - they just keep getting better and BETTER...
author: Bob PepplerBOB PEPPLER - CD Baby has all three of TAB's albums on their menu list. "Old Habits" is their second effort and the entire CD is is a musical explosion of pop/rock. The second cut, "Hurricane", is a funky-rock piece that demonstrates the magical guitar fingers of Chris Vasi. It's a real finger snappin' toe tappin' sound that will make YOU get up and dance! Travis Allison's signature voice stands out in each song and his unique vocal style masterfully weaves a pattern much like Edwin McCain. The fourth cut, "Sweet Mellow Time", sounds as if McCain was singing along with TAB in the music studio. The sound you hear will bring goose-bumps to your body. The real gem on this CD is the sixth cut, "River".... This song is a BLUES number that showcases Travis Allison's unique voice. His vocals on this song are tight and slip in and out of sync with the music like a Surgeon's hand slips into a pair plastic gloves. The sound is smooth and there are some real interesting solos and the backup vocals will wake you up like cold rain on a hot day. The eighth cut, "Marina" is a well engineered ballad. Once again Travis Allison's voice is featured along with his remakable piano playing. To say that I liked this CD is an understatement. I loved every cut. If you only buy one CD this year, "OLD HABITS" is the ONE.... but you can't enjoy it until you order it. So rob your piggy bang, cash in your aluminum cans, or steal your kids lemonade money, but order this CD TODAY! You won't regret it...... BOB PEPPLER
