Cool album!
author: Carlos BernardoI don't know much about this genre but this CD is put together nicely, I originally bought it because I like the idea of Latin Soul with New York salsa background from back in the days and their haunting melodic voices, so if your looking to scratch that (east coast soulful Latin oldies) itch, than this album for you.
AWESOME CD!!!
author: ANA AUSTADI REALLY LIKE THE CD. I HAD BOUGHT VOL. 1 A COUPLE OF MONTHS AGO AND LOVED IT, SO WHEN I SAW THAT VOL. 2 WAS MADE AVAILABLE, RIGHT AWAY I TOOK THE OPPORTUNITY TO BUY IT.

Few styles were more at their height in the 1970s than soul. It’s hard to argue that whatever might be going on in the genre now is infinitely indebted to those unforgettable loungey memories; the keyboards, the vibes, the funky guitar, the classic vocals and backup. Bring a Latin touch to that, delve back into doo wop and Latin oldies from the 60s, such as Eddie Lebron, and top it off with early 70's New York salsa and you have the all-hit Latin soul recording here. This second installment features a generous 21 tracks from swaying slow-dance numbers by Brooklyn Sounds to love songs from Ray Devila. All around, this is no less than a collector’s item.
