Enjoy listening to your samples, however would like to give The Eternals credit
author: William RamirezEnjoyed your Latin Soul collection - which took me on a long trip back in time and brought back many memories of my NYC musician friends. I played with several of these groups and recorded some of the tunes in your collection - the collection brought back many memories of my old friends - the late Rafi Pagan, Paul Ortiz, Joey Pastrana, and my old friends with Capri. I would like however to give proper credit to THE ETERNALS - a 50's - 60's Doo Wop group (Babalu's Wedding Day) that joined my group to record If I should Lose You which was recorded in NYC (studios owned by Jay and The Americans) back in 1972. I just lost my entire collection of all the original recordings and many others after over 30 years. I enjoyed every minute of this trip and hope to buy your collection. author: Tony GonzalezI can't believe how good this CD is, when Vol. 2 comes out I'll be there in line waiting (or at least waiting until CD Baby has it available online). Please make it soon.

Considering that I grew up in Panama, Rep. of Panama I remember our local radio stations played all these oldies especially Ralfi Pagan, Joe Bataan, etc. It was the golden age of the Nitty Gritty, Bogaloo and Chingalin mid to late 60's the other groups like El Gran Combo also made/composed similar tunes that I enjoyed very much.
