The Swains are:
Danny Baker, Kris Geren, Will Henry, Bob Knetzger and
Barry Semple.
From heartbreak and honky-tonk to boogie and ballads, The Swains deliver authentic songs and songwriting inspired by traditional American music.
They call their sound "Motel Country".
After paying dues in local country and rockabilly bands all across the nation, they came together in Seattle, in 2004. Coming from Kansas, Arizona, Alabama and Washington, the boys have played music from the Country Music Hall of Fame to the clubs and honky-tonks of the northwest. Led by Baker's vocals and songwriting, The Swains bring genuine emotion and experience to their style of country.

sneaks up on you really nice
author: JeffersonPlace this in the player, hit repeat, and let it play 2-3 times and you'll find yourself quickly into this CD. The songs are thoughtful, with a nice danceable tempo, and stick with you. The title track is a heartfelt look at love. Enjoy.
This c.d. forces me to give country music a chance.
author: barbaraFor someone who is just being introduced to country music, this C.D. has peaked my interest, to say the least. The musicians' talents shine through as much more than just solid and the lead singer's voice is a huge bonus. The songs on this c.d. are ALL great and have made me become more interested in country music. Can't Let Go.
