Suzi Shelton is riding the crest of the "kindie rock" phenomenon with her cathcy tunes and her hip pop-rock sensibilities. She has been a stand out among the current crop of kid-friendly musical performers since her days as an original member of the groundbreaking New York ensemble, The Imagination Workshop Band, and then Brooklyn's own Gillygaloo. As Suzi watched her original songs captivate her audience which now included her own children, she teamed up with producer and multi-instrumentalist Dan Siegler to produce her debut solo album SIMPLY SUZI released fall 2005. They are currently getting ready to release a second CD, No Ordinary Day on February 5th 2008.

With awards from Parents'Choice, the Children's Music Web and iParenting Media, Suzi is gaining national critical acclaim as well as a loyal following in her home base of NYC.     We have owned the CD for a little over two weeks and my husband and I know most all of the words. My two children, ages 2.5 and 15 months, love Suzi's music! It's so much fun to see them sing and dance! My children have loved it so much, we have ordered all of their cousins one. It makes a great gift!

    This CD is wonderful! I was listening to the samples on this site to see what my kids thought of the music. My daughter then sat at the computer listening to Suzi's music all day! I knew it then that we had to have it at our house. Now, she sings the songs all around the house and we must take it on trips. Definately a MUST have CD!!

    My 3 year old loves this this CD. We play it in the car almost everyday and my daughter and I used to take turns singing and now she sings through the entire CD...and mommy does not get a turn.     Suzi's sweet voice and playful songs are a wonderful addition to our household... Cranky meals no more! We turn on Suzi's CD at breakfast or lunch and everyone mellows out and groves out. My two year old son LOVES to clap and stomp on command and my daugther listens carefully to hear all the lyrics, and then sings along. This is a great time in a box!
