Surfing with Joe is an eclectic mix of surfing, beach, ocean and sunny sounds -- ranging from the feel good vibe of "Sugar Joe," the jazzy sounds of "Steely Joe" and "Percussive Joe," to the ethereal, meditative mood of "Wind on Water 2." The guys in the band ...

His current commercial recording highlights include DreamWorks "Antz" and "Road to El Dorado"; National Geographic"Fun With Animals"' George Michaels's"Older"' Bette Midler's "Bette of Roses"' George Michael "Papa Killer" Five Live; and the Grammy Nominated "Don't Let the Sun Go Down" duet with Elton John.

Mark Le Vang (keyboards) has recorded with artists suchas Boyz to Men, Kenny G, B.B. King, Prince, Toni Braxton, All 4 One, Sheena Easton, Rick Braun, Peter White, Johnny Gill, Gary Hoey, Pat Benatar, Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young, and Elton John. In addition he has composed, performed and produced a plethora of international broadcast music titles and commercials.

Lance Morrison (bass) hit it off big in the studio with the likes of Alanis Morissette, Rod Stewart and Simple Minds. Since 1997, he has played bass on albums for Don Henley, Rick Springfield, the New Radicals and many others.

Avi Sills (drums) was the time-keeper for the Red Elvises. Classically trained at the Berkeley College of Music, his rhythmic and percussive style make him a tireless, innovative, one-of-the-finest-going drummers around.

Surfing with Joe was composed and arranged by Brad Chiet, whose most notable recent accomplishment (among many commercial projects) includes the soundtrack for "The Crooked E" CBS movie of the week.
