notes
Describing themselves as "full contact rock", Portland, Oregon's Supernaut come out of the gates with a big bang.
That big bang, "Livid Vol. 1", is a hard-hitting, pull-no-punches, melody-laden, sing-along collection of modern rock songs that will bring to mind the Ramones, Motorhead, and even Cheap Trick.
Supernaut is fronted by Scott Chapin, former front man for The Daylights, a band that earned a devoted following throughout the West Coast before disbanding when members decided to pursue other endeavors.
Always writing and recording, Chapin decided it was time to start another band a few years later and enlisted friends Basil (drummer), from the Northwest's most lively, energetic, and infamous band, Sweaty Nipples. Ryan Schmidt (guitar), who played with regional favorites Molly Cliff, The Film, and with Chapin in The Daylights. And So-Cal transplant Mike Lee (bass), who puts a tremendous thump into Supernaut's screaming, sing-along anthems.
"Livid Vol. 1" offers up six fierce, no-holds-barred songs about relationships, as well as the general bruises, bumps, and turbulence of life.
Here is a debut that channels the biting intensity of hard rock, the soaring hooks of the most memorable pop, and the gutter-grind of punk. On all fronts, Supernaut delivers.

Awesome CD!
author: LeahGreat band, hope to hear more from them.
Rock Solid
author: CHINASKIThe intricacy of the guitar work is the first thing that catches your ear. Soaring vocals and a ROCK SOLID rhythm section powers these songs into the NEXT WAVE of ROCK. Supernaut proves that guitar rock is far from dead and is in fact ALIVE and Kicking HARD.
Watch this Portland band closely
author: RyanExcellent CD. Straight up rock and roll, but with some heavy pop and metal influences, producing a great mixture all around. Some tracks leave you humming along (losin it, say goodbye), while others make you want to smash empty PBR cans on your forehead while you pump your fist in the air (shot to hell). These guys have talent, and the CD highlights that. These guys have major potential, so buy this disc before they become huge.

The Best Thing That $6 Can Buy!
author: MikeThis CD is great! Great riffs, tone, lyrics, vocals and memorable hooks and melodies. In a world that didn't suck, this band would be big. I already can't wait to hear more from them. It's only $6, just buy it.
