Country Lovin’ is the second release from Savannah, GA based band Superhorse. Superhorse is a seven member band that has been playing in the Southeast USA for 15 years. While primarily known for its wall of sound, four guitar driven garage rock, this collection gives the band the opportunity to explore its country/ americana roots. Pedal steel guitar, dobro, and mandolin playing special guest musicians were brought in to create an authentic country-rock sound. The album ranges from the Webb Pierce classic, “Honky Tonk Song” to “I Don’t Care” a wistful song in 3/4 time that laments what happens when a relationship and psychedelics both go horribly wrong.
