Hillarious Wicked Pissah Rap From Ouah Faih City of Boston
author: KarlThere is a lot of rap & rap rock out there, but this disk has a unique voice. Imagine a young Cliff Clavin and Norm, stoned to the bejezus, riffing on everything from unfair delivery charges for Chinese food, to how life's going to be when they're famous ('...all the women, all the women we flaunt, and all the drugs, all the drugs we want"), to how everything (life, work, and yet again, pot) "makes them crazy". Stony D has a hillarious accent that is breathy, urgent, and Supah Wicked Pissah sounding at the same time. Listening to this band is like slumping over a bar in Southie, drinking with the guys from Good Will Hunting, only to have the lights come up, the sound system come on, and see your drinking buddies start mackin' like old school pimp playahs. Local music that should be heard across the nation. Go Sox.
