Sue Ford is an eclectic singer- songwriter, multi-instrumentalist soulfully expressing a woman's journey through relationship, marriage, motherhood and personal growth. She has performed professionally in Asheville for over 10 years. She is currently the assistant director of Womansong. Sue's song "Heal Me" was premiered by Womansong at the National Women's Choral Festival in Michigan in 2001. Additionally, Sue teaches music at Rainbow Mountain Children's School and Evergreen Community Charter School.

Voice as Clear as a Bell: a Great New Talent!
author: Randee GoodstadtYou might say that Sue Ford’s debut album features songs “in the key of life!” The fun and sexy “Feel Like Dancin’” gives female sensuality a surprising twist; then I find myself tapping my feet and singing along to the bouncy bee-bop feel of “Sister Spirit Queen.” The entire album is enjoyable, and my personal favorite is the deeply beautiful and moving “Heal Me.” Sue Ford is a terrific songwriter with a voice as clear as a bell. You’re bound to enjoy this album.
A great voice and variety make for a rewarding listening experience.
