  • i enjoy it

the disco-ish sound caught me off guard, but it was done very well. it'll definitely keep your body moving... for only 6 songs though. :(

  • excellent

    really good, body moving music

  • Can't help but dance!
    author: Debi

This CD is some sort of ska-rock-funk-disco combination. The songs are full of energy and you just can't help but dance. Well, I can't at least. And neither can the band, if you've seen any of their shows. The only problem I have with this CD is that it's too short!

  • Great CD
    author: Joe

I was very happy to get this CD in the mail. It has been a great listen, and Suburban Legends is getting plenty of play here in Illinois.

  • Such a difference
    author: Catherine

I've adored Suburban Legends since I first heard them in 2004, and even though this is a very different sound, it's such a great CD. Vince as a singer makes the band all the better.

  • Amazing, it never fails to make me dance
    author: Sandi

It's very different for Suburban Legends but I absolutely love it.

  • Different...but still a great E.P by the awesome Suburban Legends!
    author: John Springett

This is a great E.P, musically slightly different to previous releases but still thoroughly enjoyable, a great CD to shake your booty too. Cant wait for a new full length CD from these guys...dont leave us waiting to long!!!!!!

  • Why aren't these guys more popular?
    author: Rocktapus

From the first time I heard Suburban Legends I was hooked. These guys are fresh, fun, and totally original. They have a unique sound, with great lyrics and energy that make you want to listen over and over. Dance Like Nobody's Watching is a perfect example of what makes these guys so good. If only more mainstream bands were like them, I'd be willing to switch on the radio when I drive.

  • Superb
    author: Lawn Gnome

Though I enjoyed their previous full album (rumpshaker) more, this album is a welcome edition to my collection. Anything from these guys is worth buying, and every song is worth a couple of spins. The rehash on Bright Spring Morning is by far the star of this short cd, and I can't wait for them to release a complete album! If you are a fan, buy this disc now!

  • I AM dancing!
    author: Stix

I've been a fan for years; tightest I've heard the horn section. Wish it was a "full" album, but will take anything I can get. "Bright Spring Morning" has always been my favorite track from the band, and this emotionally charged, scaled back version blew me away.

  • 2 nice
    author: Alan A. A.

This album is great, Suburban Legends' "Dance..." is a cool ska album with a great feel and sound to them. This album is a must have for anyone who likes early No Doubt or just ska in general.

  • No mater how this band changes they just can’t stop sounding awesome!
    author: VRTNT

Suburban Legends does what only a really great band can do go through changes and hold on to what made them great while growing sonically and creatively. This album has a great beat and a funk to get your ass moving , that same perfect wild horn combination, and more heart and soul in the song writing and composition than ever before. This is a short album but you will get your moneys worth with how many times you will listen to it.

  • A-MAZ-ING
    author: Jim

Suburban legends is the only band that I know of that can have a new sound, a new attidude and half a new line up but still be the same band. Besides thier obvious musical and creative growth these guys haven't changed a bit. These 5 new songs are an excellent addition to the suburban legends repetoir, a rare collection of tunes that are not only catchy, but have heart. The highlight of this album is the new version of Bright Spring Morning, a new take on the s.l. classic. It takes me back to the emotional and epic Dallas memorial show, the only time to my knowledge the song was performed this way. Two messages here: 1. To the band... You guy's should be really proud of yourselves. Keep it up. The fans love you. 2. To the fans... If you have 7.99 and 15 minutes left to live I would highly recommend you spend your last few breaths listening to "Dance like nobody's watching" by surban legends. -Jim p.s. My brother hates ska and loves this cd.
