Stunned Parrots is a band formed by Alberto Rionda & Ramón Lage (members of Avalanch) and Jorge Otero & Danny Montgomery (from Stormy Mondays).
After an Asturian cider-fuelled jam session, the guys somehow thought that it could be a good idea to get into the studio to record an album of covers.
They were wrong! However, they think that this record is both absurd and captivating, and succeeds in bringing a totally random selection of songs into a contemporary rock sound.
Who knows... maybe they were right after all!!!
Oh yeah, the name comes from the famous "Dead Parrot" sketch, by Monty Python...
