David "Strik" Strickland, one of Arkansas most sought after Producer/Artist first gain his interest in music as a child when he heard song so creative and real, it sparked something in him as a child so deep, it stuck with him to this very day.
Strik was listening to songs like Run DMC, although he enjoyed the songs he just couldn't relate as he saw his brother break dancing all in the news papers and at the local AutoZone parking lot. One day Strik was walking to elementary school and he heard some child sing
some volger songs but the songs touched a chourd in Striks heart. The songs were so real and simbilized the exact life
that Strik was living. A life of poverty and confusion, father on drugs and beating everybody in the house, it was NWA.

By the 7th grade Strik had decided right then and there that he would be the one to tell about his life, because he knew that there were other people who were in my situation or worse. He knew becaused he viewed it everyday in his neighborhood. Strik became a producer when his producer known as Steve, was shot in the back and killed by his girlfriend child's father. There was no one in Ar. that made the type of beats that Strik liked, but Steve, so Strik got his Uncles keyboard and started playing. It was then that he realized that he had a natural ear to actually produce beats as well as write lyrics

This album is so REAL! I LOVE IT!
