Music for people bored with the same old thing. Folk, psychedelic and rock styles blended with a touch of Gothic and pop flavors to satisfy the listener that thinks they have heard it all a lot smooth but a little rough and slightly raw.

notes
Strange Lights is Lonny Roth and Deb Zazzo. Playing guitar, bass, and dual vocals. Strong vocal and instrumental styles contribute to what is probably the most powerful duo out there, easily able to keep up in the indie rock scene. With pervasive folk, psychedelic, pop and rock influences as well as totally different but equally unusual personal backgrounds, Strange Lights is coining the term “Short Bus Pop” as their style. Ethan Blumenhein was our special guest on Drums.
Lonny Roth:
An average student introverted in every sense. At age 24 Lonny started "hearing voices" and experiencing other phenomena. After a brief stay in the happy hotel at age 26 Lonny was cut loose on society. Lonnys recovery has been gradual. He still wonders if he was the crazy one. Lonny enjoys developing his skills in the medicine of music as well as developing his funny bone. Lonny is no longer the introverted one.
Deb Zazzo:
An excellent student and medical doctor. Deb found that the stressfull life of the medical world contributed to her contracting Multiple Sclerosis and as she looked to other things her doctor told her that playing bass guitar could help to keep her from losing mobility in her hands. Deb has gained many new and important perspectives on health and medicine through music, including the art of letting go and finding the inner beauty that resides in all of us.
