Syndicated Summer, our 7 song EP, is a compilation of those two origional demos. The first single, "Manakin", has been featured on Richmond's 102.1, 101.1 and Washington D.C.'s 101.1 as well as on several college radio stations in the region.
Instrumentation:
Adam Parker - Vocals
Will Decher - Guitars
Garrett Lyon - Bass
Chris McKinney - Drums/Percussion
Biography:
Stone Lucy formed in September of 2006 when life-long friends Garrett Lyon and Will Decher joined forces with singer Adam Parker. Both Decher and Parker had spoken over the course of several months and decided that their musical styles seemed fully compatible. The members of Stone Lucy share a commitment to making intense hard-rock music that is bereft of trends and not subject to the whims of a fickle audience.
A group of seasoned performers, the members of Stone Lucy have performed in various groups for a combined 30 years, and they've played with some of the top acts in the region, including 2 Skinnee Jays, Welbilt, and Fighting Gravity. Now Stone Lucy is ready to build their following the old-fashioned way - playing as many shows as possible.
Stone Lucy, after nearly a year of building a great reputation in the Richmond area with their killer live shows and anthem choruses is releasing a 7 song EP, Syndicated Summer, in February of 2007. In the DIY spirit, Stone Lucy brought in life-long friends and collaborators to complete this recording: members of the Asheville, N.C. based Bandazian - Alex Keena and Kevin Rumley. United under a vision to bring together various types of music, ranging from the acoustic jangle of blues singers to the shake-your-chest impact of truly heavy rock, these players and friends teamed up to mix, master, and play on each-other's recordings, the way music ought to be: well recorded and raw, well performed yet flawed, passionate but tempered with humor.

author: Chad MorganIf you like Tool crossed with Incubus then 'Syndicated Summer' by Richmond, VA's Stone Lucy is an album that you might want to check out. The lyrics combined with the awesome rythym is mixed with a little old school but gives a hint of what Stone Lucy has to offer. This record is a must have.
