Steve Simpson writes songs for the heart, about love and family and things that matter. Part folk, part country, but all heartfelt. Steve’s focus is on writing lyrics that speak through imagery, telling stories about real people and real love. Steve has been accumulating life experiences and putting them down in songs for years, and “Better Late” is his first CD to share those songs. It was produced by Chris Rosser, and recorded at his Hollow Reed Studio in Asheville, NC

IMAGINATION PERSONIFIED
author: Cliff ThigpenSteve is the most talented songwriter I've seen from the standpoint of imagination and approaching writing from a perspective most of us wouldn't think of. He is a unique talent indeed. If you want to hear songs like you've never heard and probably never will this is the album for you. He just amazes me! Everyone should have a Steve Simpson cd in their collection. I'm glad I've got mine!!
