notes

Most of Stephen Head's music is composed taking into account Applied Kinesiology and Richard D. Utt's Applied Physiology's research, and many of his "tuning forks" for sound therapy are included (You can listen to the heart's tuning fork on "The Heart" after the "WOW..." It has an incredible sound. Several combinations of the Liver's meridian are on "Introduction, and so on.

At any rate, "Extended on a Cloud" is by all means a multifarious listening journey.

Review by: James Albert of jeez And Cheez Productions!

Stephen Head produces instrumental synthesizer music, combining great ambient soundscapes with fragments of easily clasped melody. The overall effect is like J.M. Jarre gone New Age.
Well worth checking out.

What can I really say about Stephen Head? Besides that he really has created some very moody music. While listening to his tracks, I found myself very relaxed..yet entertained at the same time...and I guess that's what his genre of music is all about isn't it? The first song that popped out at me to listen too was "Pigeons Ballad". Great Title! I'm very happy that I did listen to it because it was a great tune. all I have to say is that I'm definitely coming back to this page.

Review by: Treason Rawks of Treason

well, I'm not a fan of red printing, but I can see the connection Stephen wanted for the blood. Not enough descriptions for the music. I listened to 'The Heart' and felt that I should be watching a flower open up and children playing in a park... wasn't expecting that experience.

Review by: Mojo Nexus of American Motor Pageant

Stephen Head brings forth a sound and style that is similar to Tangerine Dream. Smooth synths and simple percussions to move them. The production is clean and the songs have a very professional polish. This is the type of music that lends itself to grand visions of beautiful scenery. Immersed and propelled, the music leads you on a wonderful journey. Like a flythrough of a lush forest or canyon, projected on an IMAX screen, this music engulfs you. Enjoy!

Excellent Artist! It is rare that after I download one song that I will like it enough to go back and take the time to grab more songs... This Italian mp3.com artist grabed me and held me... Check out Stephan Head's mp3 - "Ok Lets Do It", it is a small download and gives you a great idea about what this artist is all about.

the Heart

Lovely intro that takes you right into the deep world of Stephan Head. Take a voyage to the unknown with this well played soundscape. Synth sounds over a steady beat will make you want to come back for more.

I listened to "Beyond Life (The Suite)". It has so many parts... It's like listening to a symphony.

Stephen Head is an excellent musician. Very versatile with his music, and full of surprises. I would recommend his music to anyone. It will be worth the visit to his site.

Today's artist was Stephen Head who I will actually call a COMPOSER. He has classified himself "Electronic" but I tell you his music goes way beyond such a simplification. The songs are layered and well-recorded, the arrangements are interesting, but most importantly there is great joy in this work and by some magical process this joy transfers itself to the listener leaving him/her feeling elevated. There is something here akin to "the triumph of the human spirit." I would highly recommend this to anyone who wishes to feel good!!
