Status IV are 4 anointed brothers who sing for the Lord spreading a message of hope using a mix of gospel and R&B.
Status IV has been ministering through song for over 5 years in the Gospel arena. The group has been together for 18 years and moved from secular music to singing for the glory of God. The group had a top 10 dance hit in 1983 entitled, You Ain't Really Down, which is now a dance classic.


Each member, in his own right has a testimony to the greatness of the Lord and what HE has done for them. Their testimonies through song have moved congregations and gatherings to spiritual levels which have helped not only themselves but also others overcome their own person struggles.


Embarking on their first album entitled "Finally, From God's Point Of View", the group feels that are in the right place at the right time for ministering healing. This New York based group is on Total Success Records International.


Most recently the group has ministered for: New Mercies Cafe - NJ www.newmerciescafe.com, Black Expo at the Jacob Javis Center, Keeping it Real with Shannon on BCAT television and Gospel in the City also on BCAT television. The group has opened for Alvin Slaughter on numerous occasions.
