Starfighter started out as the lo fi bedroom project of a guy called Tim Brown, he recorded some Syd Barrett/Lo-fi Beck style demo tapes on a crappy four track machine. After giving a copy of a tape to Luc W. of Kinky Star Records Belgium he got a record deal and the demo's were released as a cd entiteled 'No-Fi' Belgium loved it and Tim got a band together, set out on the road and evolved from there on. A first single ( Beautiful Machine)was released in 2000 and proved to be successfull in Belgium, a full album called 'Make a Sex Noise' was released in 2002 and that also proved successfull. Starfighter has played 250 gigs, playing every major festival and club around Belgium (and also in Holland and France and Germany), has supported bands like Ash and did an aftershow for The first Strokes concert in Brussels, Belgium.
Nothing sets us apart from other bands, we're posers like everyone else, but we do it good and play with skill and craft. ***You'll love us***Will dance for beer and wine.

The album starts with a great song: "About you", builds up in no-time to a nice melody, that keeps your head banging. Listen also to the bass-solo with its great riff. The following songs on the cd are truely melodic and heart-warming."Make a sexnoice" is not only a rockcd, but it contains also love and feelings... That's why it's so special! Go buy this cd and you will love it! Oh yeah, and keep your ears open when the fourth song on the cd plays! This was also a one-number hit in Belgium on the national alternative radio station!!KEEP ON ROCKIN'!
